Watercolour Weekly Class - Saturday Mornings

Class Overview

Join us on Saturday mornings at the Sunshine Art Studio for an inspiring journey into the world of watercolour painting. This class is designed especially for adult beginners, but open to all abilities providing a welcoming and supportive environment to explore your creativity and develop new skills.   There is no requirement to attend the entire block please choose what dates you are able to attend as majority of sessions are fully guided.  The final two weeks in each 6 week block is dedicated to personal projects, where you can chose what you would like to paint and have assistance in class in completing your own personal painting.

What to Expect

In this engaging and interactive class, participants will:

• Learn fundamental watercolour techniques, including wash, blending, and layering.
• Explore the use of colour, light, and composition to create stunning effects.
• Discover how to choose and care for your brushes, paints, and paper.
• Create beautiful artworks under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
• Complimentary tea, coffee and refreshments included

 Schedule and Location

• Day: Saturday mornings - 8 week autumn block begins Sept 5th.  5 week winter block beings Nov 14th.
• Time: 10AM - 12PM
• Location: Sunshine Art Studio, 4-6 Staffa plc, Baird Avenue, DD2 3SX - studio located at the dead end of Baird avenue, free parking onsite

Attendance to every class is not required and you are welcome to join a block at any point.  Please note the last two weeks of every block are self guided - please check these dates before booking as these classes are not guided by the tutor and may be difficult as a first time attendee.  Please contact us if you have any questions before coming along.

Materials

All necessary materials will be provided, including watercolour paper, palette and brushes and watercolour paints. Feel free to bring any additional supplies if you wish.
